Supported by National Health Security Office (NHSO) Bangkok branch, Faculty of Physical Therapy, Mahidol University organizes “Home Health Care”. The objective is to provide physical therapy services in Bangkok for patients with mobility problems; for example, stroke, hemiplegia, paraplegia, osteoarthritis, patients after any surgery, older adults with health problems, and children with cerebral palsy and developmental delay. Physical therapists visit patients at home regularly, assess physical impairments and functions, and instruct and teach patients and caregivers to take care of themselves properly by means of therapeutic exercises and others in order to regain movements and physical performance to their full abilities.
Project of Physical Therapy in Community, Faculty of Physical Therapy, Mahidol provides the service without any charge.
