Gait and Balance (GaB)

  1. Research Overview
  2. “It cannot be denied that gait and balance are the most important movements necessary for human life. In daily living activities and functions, we require this movement as a basis.

    The purpose of this research is to study gait and balance biomechanical pattern in the different kinds of the population such as elders, athletes, patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and other conditions who have deficits in with gait and balance. Adjustment of the movement to the sensory perturbation as well as the effectiveness of the physical therapy and medical treatments on gait and balance are in the interest.

    The understanding of gait and balance will be a vehicle us to improve treatment and management to be more effective.”
