Research Overview

The goals of our lab are to

  1. determine the brain-behavior relationships that are necessary for the execution and learning of skilled movements
  2. explore central mechanisms implementing motor learning and motor control in non-disabled individuals and individuals with neurological disorder using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  3. develop new physical therapy interventions based on evidence of activity-dependent neural plasticity
  4. investigate cognitive processes in human movement using Electroencephalogram (EEG)
