Research Overview

Human Performances are dedicated to the biomechanical investigation of human sports, exercises, and physical activities. Our research focuses on prevention and rehabilitation of movement impairment syndrome such as knee problem including ACL injuries and osteoarthritis. Moreover, improving sport performance and preventing lower extremity injury are focused as well. Using of art technology can study both normal and abnormal human movement related to the kinematics, kinetics, and muscle activities. Our researches aim to contribute understanding in the risk of orthopedic injuries and to develop effective rehabilitations.

  • Zebris FDM-T system (Treadmill with force measurement)
  • Biodex isokinetics
