Ergonomics and Work Simulation Station

Research Overview

Ergonomics and Work simulation station laboratory is a room equipped with several tools and machines such as office and computer workstation, heavy force work station, “BTE Primus RS” work simulation, and “EvalTech” work evaluation. These facilities make it possible to simulate various types of work from sedentary work to heavy force work such as climbing, lifting, pulling, and pulling, as well as several types of sport. In addition, the BTE Primus RS and EvalTech can be used to objectively evaluate physical performance of workers and patients, to justify whether they are capable to perform the jobs. The machines can be also used for training patients to return for their works. The data from the machines can be combined with other machines available in the Faculty such as EMG and motion analysis for a complete work analysis.
